The Golf Course
Atlantic Beach Links golf course winds its way through undulating dunes, with fairways and greens beautifully accentuated by local indigenous Fynbos and breathtaking views of the iconic Table Mountain and Atlantic Ocean. Creating a links-style golf course that blends into its natural surroundings making it one of the most spectacular golf courses in Cape Town.
Designed by international golf architect Mark Muller, this 18 hole, par 72 links-style coastal golf course offers a stimulating and rewarding experience for golfers of all levels, from the novice to the seasoned professionals.
Open year-round, Atlantic Beach Links offers a range of seasonal coastal conditions which promise to inspire both members and visiting golfers alike.
Since opening for play in 2000 the golf course has seen thoughtful changes and improvements which have significantly enhanced the course over the years, while preserving the integrity of the links-style heritage. The experience of both our club members and visiting golfers from around the globe, bears testament to the fact that Atlantic Beach Links is undeniably, one of the finest golf courses to be played in Cape Town.
On The Tee
Atlantic Beach Links offers four tee (course) options, each named after our local wildlife which roam freely at Atlantic Beach. Our goal is to make golf more enjoyable by encouraging golfers to play from the tee (course) that may suit their golfing ability, taking weather into account, and to have fun.
Cobra Course (Yellow): Difficult to play if your skill level is not of a low-handicap or accomplished player.
Springbok Course (White): For the golfer who has no problem playing two shots to reach each par 4 in two.
Porcupine Course (Blue): A tee (course) almost every golfer can enjoy and walk away feeling a sense of accomplishment of a great day on the course.
Sunbird Course (Red): The shortest course, but not the easiest. This tee (course) is for the golfer who cannot hit and carry their driver tee-shot more than 150 meters. A real joy to play.

Atlantic Beach Links is open and playable throughout all four seasons of the year, offering a range of seasonable coastal conditions means that our golf course remains stimulating for everyone from the novice golfer to the professional.

Our Pro Shop, situated in the at the Atlantic Beach Clubhouse, is open to all and is filled with quality equipment and activewear apparel from top golfing brands. Our professional Assistants will help you select precisely what you need to maximize your golfing experience.
For your convenience we can also source equipment for you to collect at our Pro Shop and we offer a re-griping service for your golf clubs.
Driving Range
At Atlantic Beach, we believe practice is key to enjoying golf. That’s why members and booked tee-time visitors enjoy access to our top-tier, 300m driving range — one of Cape Town’s best on-course facilities.
Situated at the Sports & Fitness Centre, choose from 23 mat bays (undercover and open), a large putting green, and a chipping green with bunker to sharpen every aspect of your game. For just R75 (members) or R125 (booked tee-time visitors), get a full bucket (50 balls) of premium Srixon range golf balls.
You can also book a one-on-one session with our golf pros for expert coaching.
Need a break? Grab a refreshment from Milkwood Express at the nearby Sports & Fitness Centre.
Golf Coaching (EOGA)
The Etienne Olivier Golf Academy (EOGA) is located at the Sports & Fitness Centre at Atlantic Beach.
With a full-length outdoor driving range and indoor putting studio, industry-leading golf coaching & instruction by on-site EOGA PGA professional Marno Prinsloo is available all-year round.
